Passing your ARDS test is your first challenge in motor racing; you need this to qualify for your National B race licence.
Watching a DVD or reading a
book can definitely help you to
some extent, but to feel fully prepared and confident to tackle your
ARDS test it is wise to arrange some pre-ARDS coaching with a top grade
instructor. You can choose either a half day or a full day with Eugene
O’Brien Driver Development (a minimum of 80 or 160 track miles
respectively). We will first provide tuition to ensure you have the
knowledge and driving skills needed, then later put you through both a
mock written test and on track assessment.
Our clients also find this Pre-ARDS day to be an ideal opportunity to address concerns they may have about the specific type of racing they intend to enter. With our breadth of knowledge and experience of all types of motor racing we will be able to give you the answers and advice that you need to feel confident going into your first race meeting.

"I failed my ARDS Test first time, then realised I should have been better prepared. A session with Eugene did the trick and I passed with flying colours on my next attempt."
“I was extremely nervous about my first race so contacted Eugene and as a result of a day with him I qualified 7th out of 20 in my class, got a great start and finished top 6 on my debut”
